Well as of late, I am obsessed with making smoothies. My generous roommate has basically let me take over her blender and I have really just been going overboard. I started out with a few basic, delicious ones (bananas and berries, and sometimes a little spinach that you can’t taste over the berries), but in the last few days, I’ve been branching out a little...
Today’s special blend had carrots, bananas, and blueberries. The verdict? Totally drinkable, but nothing to be enthusiastic about. It basically didn’t have any exciting flavor. Everything sort of neutralized, but if I had to pick one thing I tasted the most, it would have to be the banana. To be fair, I put two bananas in and then scrimped on everything else. I actually wanted to make a carrot/ginger smoothie, but I didn’t have any ginger, so I figured blueberries would do the trick. Note to self: buy ginger
